Unter DA NANG YACHTS, safety has always been our highest priority. Every activity we provide — from luxury yacht charters to watersports experiences — is designed to create unforgettable memories while maintaining the strictest operational standards for the safety of our guests, crew, and equipment.
Recently, during a Jet Ski activity operated under our services, an unfortunate collision occurred between two Jet Ski units within a guest group. The impact caused serious damage to 2 out of 6 Jet Skis involved in the session. Fortunately, thanks to the rapid response of our instructors and safety team, there were no injuries or harm to any guests.
While we are grateful that nobody was hurt, this incident serves as an important reminder that Jet Ski riding is an extreme water sport that requires discipline, awareness, and full compliance with safety regulations at all times.
Jet Ski Is Exciting — But It Is Also a High-Risk Activity
Jet Ski riding offers an incredible sense of speed, freedom, and excitement on the water. However, many people underestimate the level of risk involved. Unlike driving on a road with clear lanes and traffic systems, operating a Jet Ski on open water requires constant attention, quick reaction time, and responsible behavior.
Even a brief moment of distraction, reckless maneuvering, excessive speed near other riders, or failure to follow instructions can result in serious accidents involving:
- High-speed collisions
- Loss of vehicle control
- Injury to passengers or nearby riders
- Damage to marine equipment
- Dangerous situations in open water
For this reason, all Jet Ski activities at DA NANG YACHTS are conducted under professional supervision and strict operational procedures.
Compliance With Safety Terms Is Mandatory
Before participating in any Jet Ski activity, every guest is informed of our operational Terms & Safety Regulations. These terms are not simply formalities — they are essential safety requirements designed to protect everyone involved.
All guests are required to:
- Follow the instructions of our trainers and operators at all times
- Maintain safe distances between Jet Skis
- Operate at controlled speeds in designated zones
- Avoid dangerous turns or racing behavior
- Remain alert to surrounding riders and sea conditions
- Respect all operational boundaries established by our team
Failure to comply with these regulations significantly increases the risk of accidents and may result in immediate termination of the activity without refund.
At DA NANG YACHTS, we reserve the right to stop any participant from operating a Jet Ski if unsafe behavior is observed.
Listen Carefully to Professional Instructors
Our instructors are professionally trained to manage marine sports activities safely and efficiently. Their guidance is based on practical operational experience and international safety standards.
Unfortunately, many accidents in water sports occur not because of equipment failure, but because riders ignore instructions or become overconfident during operation.
We strongly encourage all guests to:
- Pay full attention during safety briefings
- Ask questions if any instruction is unclear
- Respect the authority of instructors on site
- Operate responsibly even if experienced
- Never attempt risky stunts or aggressive riding
Experience alone does not eliminate risk. Safety awareness and responsible behavior are what truly prevent accidents.
Absolutely No Alcohol Before Operating Jet Skis
One of the most important safety policies at DA NANG YACHTS is our strict prohibition of alcohol consumption before participating in Jet Ski activities.
Alcohol affects:
- Reaction time
- Judgment
- Balance
- Coordination
- Awareness of distance and speed
Operating a Jet Ski under the influence of alcohol is extremely dangerous not only for the rider but also for passengers, nearby guests, instructors, and other vessels in the area.
For this reason:
Guests who are visibly intoxicated or suspected of alcohol consumption may be refused participation for safety reasons.
This policy is enforced without exception.
We understand that many guests are on holiday and wish to enjoy celebrations responsibly. However, alcohol and high-speed watercraft must never be combined.
Safety Is a Shared Responsibility
Unter DA NANG YACHTS, we continuously invest in:
- Professional safety training
- Operational supervision
- High-quality marine equipment
- Protective gear
- Emergency response procedures
- Preventive maintenance systems
However, safety can only be achieved when both operators and participants work together responsibly.
We kindly ask all guests to understand that safety regulations are not intended to limit enjoyment — they exist to ensure that every experience remains safe, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone involved.
The recent incident involving damage to our Jet Ski fleet is a serious reminder that even a short moment of carelessness can lead to major consequences. Although equipment can be repaired or replaced, human safety will always remain our greatest concern.
Our Commitment Moving Forward
Following this incident, DA NANG YACHTS will continue strengthening our operational safety measures, including:
- Enhanced pre-ride safety briefings
- Closer supervision during operation
- Stricter enforcement of rider distancing
- Additional monitoring of unsafe behavior
- Continued zero-tolerance alcohol policy
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all our valued guests.
Our mission is to provide world-class marine experiences in Da Nang while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and responsibility.
Please ride responsibly, respect the ocean, and always prioritize safety above excitement.
